Authors should familiarize themselves with this Privacy Policy information of the collection “Public Administration: Concepts, Paradigm, Development, Improvement” before submitting a manuscript.
Confidentiality of Review
- Manuscripts must be reviewed with due respect for the confidentiality of the authors.
- By submitting their manuscripts for review, authors entrust editors with the results of their scientific and creative work, on which their reputation and career may depend.
- Authors’ rights may be violated if confidential information is disclosed during the review of their manuscript.
- The editor must respect the reviewers’ right to confidentiality, which may be violated only for the purpose of preventing fraud and deception.
Responsibilities of Editors
- Editors are not obliged to disclose information about manuscripts (receipt, content, review process status, reviewers’ criticism, and final decision) to anyone except the authors and reviewers.
- This includes requests for the use of materials for resolving legal issues.
- Editors are obliged to inform reviewers that manuscripts are confidential information and the private property of the authors.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers and editorial staff must respect the rights of authors and must not publicly discuss their work before the manuscript is published.
- Reviewers are prohibited from copying manuscripts and transferring them to third parties, except in cases permitted by the editor.
- Reviewer comments must not be published or disclosed in any other way without the consent of the reviewer, the author, and the editor.
Anonymity of Review
- Reviews are anonymous; the identities of reviewers are not disclosed to the author or other persons without their permission.
- In some cases, reviewer comments may be sent to other reviewers of the same manuscript for a better understanding of the review process.
- Reviewers are informed about the final decision of the editorial board and editor regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.
Use of Personal Data
- Authors’ personal data (email addresses and telephone numbers) are used exclusively for communication purposes and are not subject to disclosure to third parties.
