THE STATE OF THE COMPONENTS OF NATIONAL SECURITY OF UKRAINE DURING THE PERIOD OF FULL-SCALE ARMED INVASION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

More than 30 years have passed since the end of the Cold War, but the key players in the confrontation have not changed: on the one hand, it is the Russian Federation, and on the other, the entire civilized European and American world. In an effort to push Ukraine off the path to integration into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the Russian Federation has launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. For the first time since the proclamation of Independence, there has been such a large-scale threat to national security. The war did not bypass any sphere of the state's life: economy, ecology, food sector, information environment - all this was totally affected by the consequences of the actions of the aggressor country. In such conditions, it is necessary to determine the state of the components of national security as the basis for the stable functioning of the state, which together determines the relevance of scientific research.
The article examines the existing approaches to the definition of "national security" from the standpoint of legislation and by scholars, the optimal definition. The key components of Ukraine's national security are schematically reflected. The directions of ensuring national security have been determined in accordance with the Strategy for Ensuring the State Security of Ukraine adopted by the National Security and Defense Council. The current state of information security of Ukraine, threats and threats that affected it are determined. The measures of the state to ensure a high level of information security in the country and the results of their implementation are analyzed.
The state of economic security through the prism of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine is considered. Current trends in the economic sphere and measures to stabilize them have been identified. Threats to food security have been identified and key areas for their elimination have been identified in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The situation of military security, factors that negatively affect its stability, as well as methods of maintaining it at the appropriate level are studied. Threats to the radiation safety of Ukraine against the background of the occupation of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant and the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant have been identified and the consequences for the radiological situation after the occupation have been presented.
