INNOVATIVE MECHANISM FOR SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AT THE LEVEL OF THE DNIPROPETROVSK REGION: ANALYSIS AND PERSPECTIVES

The article proves that under the conditions of a crisis situation in the country's economy, it is necessary to form an effective mechanism for the innovative development of entrepreneurship. Formation of the mechanism of innovative development of entrepreneurship should eventually lead to ensuring the stability of economic development both at the level of innovative entrepreneurship and at the level of the country. Due to the difficult economic situation, it is important to investigate what is currently happening in small and medium-sized businesses. This will help to understand in which direction it is moving, what opportunities are available, and how to make its work more effective.
The scientific article analyzes the Program for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk Region for 2023-2024, which provides for the implementation of stimulating projects and measures aimed at supporting the further development of small and medium enterprises. The number of large, medium and small business entities in the Dnipropetrovsk region in 2018-2021, as well as their number per 10,000 people of the existing population, was considered and analyzed. In addition, the number of employed and hired workers of large, medium and small enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the relevant period was analyzed. The average number of employees at enterprises of the Dnipropetrovsk region was analyzed in relation to the legislative criteria for determining the categories of business entities. Special attention was paid to the analysis of the volumes of products sold by large, medium and small business entities in the Dnipropetrovsk region in 2018-2021. The main mechanism for achieving the set goals is an effective partnership: «government – community – business». The tasks and measures of the Program for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk Region for 2023-2024 are formed in accordance with the identified key areas and focus on restoring a favorable business environment. Implementation of these tasks is possible with the cooperation and involvement of all interested parties.
